Phoenix Old Boys FC was formed in 1959 by students and masters from a Slough school now known as Herschel Grammar. We are one of the oldest amateur football clubs in the area. We run four Saturday sides plus occasional Sunday veterans teams.
Our teams compete in the Amateur Football Combination league. The AFC is a London based league, the largest in Europe, with around 100 clubs and 340 sides playing football on Saturday afternoons in and around London. The league is arranged on a North, South and West regional basis. Our teams also compete in local cup competitions. Phoenix Old Boys have a long history of winning titles and have hosted cup finals and AFC representative matches.
Playing strength levels range from playing with our 4th team in division 4 West up to our 1st team playing in the Intermediate West division. We accommodate all players by arranging occasional friendlies for a 5th team.
New players of all standards are welcome including youngsters just out of youth football. Training is on Wednesday nights at Farnham Park 7:00 p.m.
